Moab

For spring break I got to go to one of my most favorite places ever. Moab. If you have never been there might I say that you have been deprived! And go! ASAP! It is one of the prettiest places I've ever been to!
I went up with a bunch of friends that I went with last year. We drove up Monday and stayed til Saturday. We stay in a hostile. (For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a big house that's like a hotel but instead of renting out rooms they rent out beds. I had no idea what one was til last year when we stayed there.) We rent out the whole house because by the end of the week there were around 35 of us staying there.

"That goat is gettin lots of love!" - John Pack

Here is Josh Tess Matt and Me. We spent most of our time together the four of us. We had lots of fun together.

I am so proud to say that I repelled off of the center of this arch :) It was one of the most awesomeness things I have ever done in my lifetime! It's about a 150 ft tall.

I found a new favorite tanning spot! The weather was so nice there! It was cold in the shade but in the set it felt amazing! However by the time I got home I wasn't so thrilled to see how much sun I got.

BAM!! check out those raccoon eyes. No one rocks raccoon eyes like I rock raccoon eyes! Besides my funky looking face I did get a good tan out of all of this.

Here is my good friend John Pack. Deep down I swear he's a super model. Look at him he is so good at strutting his stuff.

There was this stuff... apparently it's alive? We're not supposed to step on it. Ya I kept forgetting. Oh well it only takes a good.... milllion years... or so to grow back. he he... It's not even that pretty anyways and lots of fun to step on not gonna lie. kind of squishy :D

We went and played in the sand dunes. It was awesome! The sand is so soft and lots of fun to jump in and throw at people.

Here is my frog. Hasn't turned into a prince yet I guess he's not my true love after all... Guess I'll just have to
keep looking :)

Here is Chris Lloyd. He he was the most prepared person on this trip. He bought a projector and screen just for this trip so we could watch movies together. He also brought up his computer and had just about everything you needed. Plastic bags, scissors, sunblock, you name it. This dude was definitely ready for this trip!
We crossed train tracks on our way to Corona arch. So naturally we had to lay on them :)

We all felt super stinky and gross after each day. So to preserve the hot water, we would rinse off in the shower and wash our hair in the sink. Genius idea! Felt almost like being at the spa!

This is my good friend Panda. We had fun sticking leaves and sticks in each others hair. Well I liked putting stuff in his hair and he enjoyed tickling me. Our hikes from one slot to another were filled with tickle fights, and berry wars.

This is Matt and Minion. Minion was our mascot. Such a good mascot. Little man always had a smile on his face it was great. Matt walked around with him and repelled with him as well. We got lots of funny looks and good laughs because of Matt and Minion.

Doesn't my sweater look fabulous on Josh?

This is one of my new friends Maddy. We repelled down the slots that day and did quite a few of them. I'll have to post pictures of them later. I don't have any on my camera. Someone else took pictures of everyone that way we weren't constantly juggling 15 cameras. The last repel we did was about 200 feet. It was awesome! But then we got to climb down these scary rocks. They were kinda sleep and loose. But Me and Maddy went down together and dominated those rocks!

We were happy to make it to the bottom. It was a long day but totally worth it! I love repelling now!

This is the last wall we repelled off of and the rocks at the bottom that we dominated!

We went to the Fiery Furnace. It was really cool to walk around. It was a very peaceful place. They make you watch a video before you go to fiery furnace. It's about a 15 minute video that tells you to step only on the rocks and not on the sand and to be quiet. It also tells you to stay in groups because it's very easy to get lost in there.

Nate Pack was the man in charge and he got a lot of phone calls from worried parents because they just watched the movie "127 Hours". It was pretty funny he had to explain to them that unlike the man in the movie we'll be in groups.

We all chilled and took naps. it was so nice to lay on a rock and relax. Usually laying on a rock doesn't sound too relaxing but in Moab it is!

When we got back from Fiery Furnace we did polar poky. Basically it's the hokey poky in a lake. I didn't do it this year with everyone. I was the camera man. I did do it last year though and it was freezing cold! This year they said it was warmer. Course last year when we did polar poky it was about 10 o'clock at night so the sun had gone down. Lucky ducks got to do it with the sun up this year.We do it at the same camp site every year. This year there was a couple there chillin with their dogs. So they got to be our audience. I believed they enjoyed watching our stupidity and seeing everyone scream.
