Cruise!!! Ketchikan! (Part 6)

Every evening they would put a towel animal on our bed. Here is a butterfly and snail.
Here is Ketchikan! Again there were whales everywhere! Me and Jenica woke up early to do some shopping before our excursion!

I really wanted to go on this duck tour. Just because of the look of this... bus? And the fact that it quacked everywhere you went :)
Here we are on our way to the ZIP LINE! Oh ya! It was so much fun!
(Dan, Sam, Jenica, Me, and Trent)

We got to ride this cool bus... truck... up to the top where the zip lines started. It felt like we were riding on the ride Indiana Jones at Disneyland.
We got to go on 7 zip lines. The longest one was about 700 ft. Then two of them were around 500 to 600 ft. The others were only around 70 to 100 ft. It was so awesome! We even got medals to say we completed all the zip lines.
Here is Jacob and Becca. They were two of the workers there. Jacob is from Hawaii and Becca is from Chicago. They were really fun! There was another guy that was over my group and his name was Scott. On the longest zip line we went on he shook the the wire so that I wouldn't make it up all the way and so I had to pull myself up. I thought it was because of the wind but no he thought it would be funny to make me shake and lose control. Jerk face... haha

Cruise!!! Sitka! (Part 5)

Yes Sitka. The place that one of my favorite movies takes place at. "The Proposal"
Yes this movie. This would be my favorite scene. No it's not actually filmed in Sitka it just takes place there. It was filmed in like Minnesota or something.
Everywhere we went there were fur galleries and these man panties awkwardly funny I know!

Again funny stuff everywhere in Alaska!
Dan would just kind of wander off and disappear. We found him randomly sleeping on this rock so we decided to creep up on him and scare him.
Trent and Dan had a bro-mance. So did Trent and Sam.
Aren't they adorable!

While we wandered around we came across this old building that was being revamped. It was an old college that they were turning into an arts summer camp.

We ended up doing a service project while we were there. We moved the beds and put them together in each of the rooms and moved these desks.
Not very many of us were fond of the idea of having to move beds and everything we just wanted to wander around. But when the guy who was in charge jokingly said hey you guys could help move beds! Dan and Sam immediately jumped on the bandwagon and said yes. Later we were ok that they said yes because it ended up being lots of fun and they fed us too! :)

This is where the dance classes are going to be.
Trent was a sweetie and gave us all dandelions to treasure forever.
Even Dan got one. :)

Cruise!!! Glaciers! (Part 4)

One of the days we were there we did this long tour looking at these glaciers. We were worried we were going to miss the glaciers. However turns out the tour of the glaciers were form 1 to 6. We saw plenty of them :)

Here is our room! Katie got the bed that came out of the ceiling and me and Jenica got the ones that were already out. We had a good time. Every night we would get hamburgers. They were so yummy! That is pretty much what we did the whole time we were on the boat. Eat and Sleep.

Cruise!!! Juneau! (Part 3)

Should have put this sooner... but oh well. Here is our boat. It's name is Weston :)
And here is Weston at our first stop in Juneau!

Juneau was a pretty place but also kinda ghetto... allow me to explain.
Here is how they keep people from stealing their stop signs.
And this is how they keep people from letting their animals poop where they please....
However they are good at keeping it clean when saving kids from the bad stuff.

Everything either had to do with bears or whales. I was so mad! Baby whales were doing tricks on the side of our boat and I missed it! I only got to see a tale of a whale... :(
I tried to get Katie to get it to look like it's coming out of my mouth. Instead it looks like I have a goatie.
We got to see tons of glaciers! They were awesome! Also fun to crack jokes of oh no... we've hit a glacier. Now we're going to pull a titanic.

See what I mean? Bears. Everywhere!
